Caring for our patients

At Wigmore Dental Practice, we understand that not every patient is fully mobile, and that some disabilities are not visible. This is why we have step-free access to the surgery, easy access throughout the surgery for wheelchair-users, and a disabled toilet. More information can be found here.

We also understand that mental health concerns are not always explicitly shown and may impact on a patient's ability to be comfortable with dental treatments. This is why we always have staff who are qualified in mental health training present in the surgery.

Regarding health conditions, we have defibrillators fitted throughout the surgery, and every member of staff is trained in first aid.

Time For The Homeless

We at Wigmore Dental Practice are proud to collaborate with 'Time For The Homeless'. This is our local non-profit charity dedicated to helping end homelessness and to help the vulnerable in Medway, Maidstone, and Swale. Each week, we gather long-life foods, hygiene / sanitary products, and blankets at the Practice which are then dropped at donation points. Volunteers then, on a daily basis, distribute the goods and offer hot, freshly made food as well. To find out more and to see how you could help, visit their Facebook page.
